In our first lesson being taught about the editing software we created an imitation of another digipack cover to understand how we could make our own. We were shown a cover of another album and then we had to make the same image from three separate images on Google. First of all I set the background as the trees, then we inverted the colours and gave it a bit of a blue tint. Then I added the escalator image on top and adjusted the scale of it. I used an erasing tool to get rid of the excess bits of the image, then I added the diver image on top. It was harder to cut out the diver from its image as it it small and intricate so instead of the mouse erasing tool I used selection tool which would select a large area of one colour so that I could then delete that bit. Then I added some writing and the image above is the end result.

Introduction
Hi, my name's Gabs. I started media studies a year ago and really enjoyed the AS level media studies experience. I found making the opening sequence to a thriller a huge learning experience when it came to editing and filming, it was very fun to make and I loved working in a group on the project. All of this makes me more excited to start working in my new group for the music video lip syncing task. I think making a music video will be a whole new experience when it comes to editing especially as it will have much faster cuts and will incorporate the music in the editing too. Media studies interests me the most out of all my subjects and I wish to pursue media as a career.
